Current Camp Sessions

Camps and Events

Summer 2021 registration is open! We’ll have a ton of that traditional camp fun all while following the latest coronavirus safety standards from the CDC and the Minnesota Department of Health. Camp may look a little different in 2021, but it’s going to be a great summer!

Use the drop-down tabs to search for camps. For more information and to download the welcome letter, click on the name of the camp. Camper grade is designated as the grade completed as of June in the current school year.

When registering online for the first time, please plan for the process to take 15-20 minutes to complete.

Register for camp at Koronis, Northern Pines or Kowakan on or before April 30th, and receive the Early Bird $25 camp store credit that can be used for snacks at the canteen or items from the store during your time at camp.

Current COVID-19 safety guidelines include reductions to overall group size and camp capacity, so we will have less space in our summer camping events. If an event is full, you will be placed on a waitlist. But don’t give up! As COVID-19 conditions change we hope to adjust our capacities upward and register those on our waitlists for their chosen event. You will be notified no later than 3-weeks prior to the start of your event if you are moved from a waitlist onto the event roster. Please let our central office camp staff know as soon as possible if you decide to register for a different event and no longer wish to remain on the waitlist.

Please see our FAQ section for answers to common registration questions. If you need further assistance, contact the camping office at camps@campminnesota.org, or give us a call toll-free at 855-622-1973.

Mini Camp is a great opportunity for children to experience camp for the first time or return for a shorter camp experience. These three-day/two-night camps are packed full of adventures. Campers will play games, create crafts, learn about nature while exploring the camp woods, swim and play at the beach, have outdoor worship around the campfire, spend time in Bible lessons and reading their Bibles. We will spend time at the archery range, at the Gaga ball pit, and in cozy hammocks. Our theme this year, This is Our Prayer, will guide many activities as we learn new ways to pray, experience praying together and create prayer reminders to take home. Mini Treehouse campers sleep in a treehouse. Our tree houses have bunk beds and have electricity with a bathroom nearby.

Let me give you a glimpse of why we think Family Camp 1 at Northern Pines Camp is such a special and magical place! To give you a little context, I have been coming to Family Camp 1 since the 1980’s with my parents, and there is a pull that keeps us coming back (now with my children) year after year. It is a place where you can truly “unplug” among the fragrant tall pines, reconnect with your family and friends, get outside and simply enjoy all of God’s glorious creations. If you are looking to relax and unwind with a good book, you may find yourself cocooned in one of the hammocks down by the lakeside listening to the loons as they swim by. For those who like a bit more structure, we also offer optional activities throughout the week such as arts and crafts, Bible study, archery, campfires, a talent show, outdoor games, vespers and much more. We typically plan a canoe trip down the Potato River that is always a lot of fun. We have beach and swimming time, use of kayaks, paddleboards and a pontoon boat. It is hard to fit all of the fun and quality family time into one week! I hope you can join us this summer!
