United Methodist Family Camp is an AFFILIATED CAMP:
Affiliated camp events take place at Camp Minnesota campsites and elsewhere around the state. They are organized and led by friends of Camp Minnesota but operate independently of Camp Minnesota. Each affiliated camp handles its own registration, programming, safety, and risk management, and is not included in Camp Minnesota’s American Camp Association accreditation process. These affiliated camps are included in this listing as suggestions of additional opportunities led by United Methodist leaders. To register for these camps, contact the leaders directly.
Serve MSP #415 $30 per participant Grades 7 - 12 8/3/2022 - 8/5/2022 Register

Serve MSP is a day camp for youth in grades 7-12. At Serve MSP, youth (and adult leaders) will spend time volunteering with service partners that work to support and advocate for the marginalized and those in need in the Twin Cities area. Each day includes time to learn through experiential elements and from community speakers and leaders about topics rooted in social justice.

Minnesota has been a central figure in conversations about social justice in recent history. Serve MSP will allow an opportunity to safely gather with other youth and community leaders, to serve organizations that are doing justice work every day, and to engage in necessary conversations.

We'll gather August 3-5 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm at several locations in the Twin Cities (itineraries will be distributed to adult leaders before camp week.) Our serving and learning will be focused on churchwide missional efforts and partnerships, as well as supporting local organizations.

Cost is $30/participant (which includes a shirt and admission to a fun event on Friday.) Groups will bring their own lunch or have an opportunity to go out for lunch depending on the day.
